This is probably the most important PC game of 2011 to show PC gaming truly isn't dead.
I hope you are right, otherwise... we are truly doomed!!!

On the other hand... that is less money I have to spend on upgrades or new builts
lol, that is certainly a different way to look at it.

I have to tell you all, I cant wait for this game. I am building a new machine with thoughts of playing this one. Yeah I know I'm strange but my HP DV7 is having a hard time with BC2. I just wish I knew more of the games specs right now but I am planning to do HD 5770 and then before the game is released getting a second one and doing crossfire.
I hope to see you guys out there.

These games are not meant to be played on laptop, you need to invest in a desktop with good specs and good cooling solutions in order to experience the true awesomeness. The specs for BF3 won't be too higher than bad company 2, may be who knows frostbite engine 2 is far more efficient than the bade company 2 frostbite engine.

    first and foremost... Congratulations!!!!

Now, you'd be surprise what you can get with little money now a days... all you need is patience and a little luck, the rest is easy.

If you check on my system specs, I built this rig with less than 1000 bucks about 2 years ago... I am sure you can do the same for less and having a much better rig

I have to admit these are some really fine looking visuals, love the particle effects with bits flying off the buildings, ohhhh can't wait better save up and upgrade my graphics card as I doubt a 5770 will handle it that well.
