Mythal Bombs you say? Sounds like a hoot, i never really played with the bombs or poisons in DA2. I did in DA:O, but thats because i pretty much got all the skills i wanted. Then i just picked up the poison making abilities, it added damage like crazy .
any character can use them and they revive team mates.
So it's actually a pretty awesome item yeah.
I left the healer behind a large part of the game because of them.
i had to keep him as a healer but im gonna load up my save file and gonna bust his a** hard the second time I really would not like to see that A**hole again ever in any DLC, Expansion or even DA3 at all. I hate Anders and he is one of the worst character i've seen in games so far i swear.
Hey Boogieboy, Did you play Awakening? Because he was actually pretty funny and pleasant in that one. I just completely hate the new anders, why bioware would change anything about him is beyond me. They turned him into a little, whiny, brat. I dont mind the whole "Mages vs Templars" theme, but he was over the top and unnecessary.
Yes vierasniper i've played Awakening and i also mentioned somewhere in my previous post in this thread that the much i liked Anders in Awakening the more i hate him in DA2. I dont know too why Bioware messed up his character and merge Justice soul with him and now they made him destroy the Chantry and kill several innocents along with the Grand Cleric one thing i wanna know... Where did Flemeth went? i remember i killed her when Morrigan asked me to do that in DA:O and now after the blight is ended and everything Flemeth was still alive and she is flying somewhere
I couldn't agree with you more about the flemmeth thing. I do remember one of the options with the flemmeth quest, you could tell morrigan that you killed her but she would just "go away". That could be one of the reasons, she shows up at the nick of time during the beginning of DA2. However that still doesnt make sense, because they were running away from the blight, how is that possible if DA2 takes place after DA:O? Completely flawed story telling in my opinion
Though I agree with what you're saying, I think bioware wanted to show his passion and belief in his cause.
If you think about how passionate some people are, especially when it comes to religion and well..... we've seen some horrendous results.... similiar to Anders.
Anders certainly was passionate..... did his passion lead to, or justify his actions? That's the question the games asks..... Thus your choice between life and death.
With regards to Flemeth, if you listened to Morrigan closely, she did hint that even if you kill Flemeth she could still return. With that, I wasn't surprised to see her in DA2.
A lot of fans question Flemeth's return, but if you go back to DA:O and play that scene where Morrigan talks about killing her, you'll he her say something like she could return.
Very Nice Sygnus, thanks for putting it in perspective. I just wish the whole thing with him was more flexible, like things were in DA:O and Awakening.
Yeah but I think Anders character was intentional as he certainly is a key figure in the game. And even if you got rid of him (I didn't), he was still going to make an inpact.
Anyway I agree about having more flexability.... where? Is the question.
I'm going to replay the area where you either choose to help anders or not and see what the impact is for not helping him. My bet is he still does his thing - with or without your help.
