    Windows 7 x64 Age of Empires 3

    Hello,

First of all, sorry if this has been answered before, but I was unable to find a solution that worked through my searching.

I recently bought an ASUS G73JH with Windows 7 64 bit loaded on it. Everything seems to be okay, except for Age of Empires 3 (and both expansions). The game will run okay for a few minutes, but eventually the game image will disappear to be replaced by flickering solid color screens. I can get that to go away by minimizing and maximizing the program, but sooner or later the game crashes altogether, forcing me to restart the system.

I have tried to run the game in compatibility mode for Vista and XP, I've updated all of my drivers and I've tried running the main game on its own (no add-on packs) and each add-on separately. Nothing I've done has made any difference, though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My system specs:

    MODEL: ASUS G73JH
    OS: Windows 7 x64
    PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7 Q720
    RAM: 4GB DDR2
GRAPHICS CARD: ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870

They seem to have provided links to every possible solution.
