Couldn't you just print your own copy from the digital? And if the manual gets messed up you could just print a new one...

Well from a game collectors point of view, the manual is just as important as the game. I for one go to great lengths to track down games and get a hard copy not only of the CD, but a manual and box as well. Sometimes you get something extra to buying the game, maybe some art or story that they didn't include in the game itself, I don't think i have ever read a manual for its information regarding how to play the game..that was never the reason i liked to keep them.
