Look no further than Dragon Age 2. All you had to do was download the Hi Res texture pack and you had your DX11 images - Tom's Hardware article - Hi-Res Texture Pack for Dragon Age 2 Available

I'm guessing this is what Crytek/EA whoever is planing on doing with Crysis 2 whenever they release this "patch"

Might get Crysis 2 once I've done a few upgrades to my PC. Contemplating whether to get a second 470, just to have more of an edge.

I have been playing the SP and I think its ok..I like it a whole lot better than dead Space 2 or DA2 thats for sure...It looks ok and I can't care less I gotta download the Dx 11 patch..woulda been nice if it hadda been with the game but it was'nt so too bad imo...
Biggest problem I have with it is it the bloody mess the "redeem codes" is in along with the logging in to MP...I can't do either and it appears on the Mycrysis forums theres a few in the same boat. I guess Crytek will get around to fixing it sometime, sooner rather than later I hope cos the MP looks like much fun.
Love stealth shootem in the face with a silenced shotgun lol...hi bye same breath...I don't consider this to be a waste of money which is more than I can say for Dead Space...bloody POS that was/is..
Anyways cheers and see ya in MP when its finally fixed

I think a bit of the hype wore off when this was leaked a while back and people discovered it wasn't the same sort of Crysis it used to be.
This is true too. I have a 4870 2gb card and it was great. I thought I would upgrade to the 5850 2gb card. I havn't been really happy with it. There is something there that just isn't right. Plus I think it has to do with the drivers they putting out right now. You know that you have that feeling that there something that isn't just right.

Crytek have taken the redeem code sites down, both of them. Nice of them.
Finally found a way to get into the MP side..changed password and it worked..got dc'd and found key was in use message when I tried to log in again..it's probably forgotten the key now as well.

Makes me appreiciate the efoort Blizzard put in keeping a game online.fixing stuff and they have plenty of it when patches hit (mostly within 24 hours i might add) and keeping the playerbase informed.

These ratbags dont/wont/cant fix or communicate..no wonder it's broken.

Yep.

I was pretty happy with my 48xx series cards, but I regret buying the 5970 which has been a headache finding a driverset that works okay with games as well being bug free in desktop usage.

I've been stuck on 10.10e because all sets after that have had one issue or another that makes them unusable.

What makes it worse is that some of these issues that were fixed (ie multi-monitor flickering caused by low 2D mem clock speeds) are broken again and now that the 6xxx series is the focus, there isn't much priority for fixing previous generations.

Crysis
I've had crysis for awhile, since before windows 7. Today I decided I wanted to play it so I installed it and updated it to 1.2.1. Every so often while I play the game just crashes, also crashes when I try to change graphical settings. In the event viewer it says Faulting application name:...

Crysis and windows 7
My computer has crashed (BSOD) quite a few times, but I think I've narrowed it down to crysis. It's crashed three times during a play through. Furthermore i cannot seem to enable very high settings either. This all seems rather ridiculous as my system specs are rather good: ati 4870, 4g RAM, intel...
