So how do you play your FPS games then? you don't use a Mouse/KB combo?

I am old so changing my styles is tough and hard at the same time, it pretty much makes me hate the game if I can't have my setup the way I always use it. funny thing is... IIRC, the issue was/is only noticeable with the Left Middle Button though, I changed it to a different mouse button and the problem went away but still... I couldn't cope with it. ADD sucks

Yep. I use mouse and k/b for FPS. I also tend to stick to the same setup if I can.

WASD movement, L-shift sprint, L-Ctrl crouch (C if I have to)

Left Mouse button shoot, Right mouse Button Aim, Middle game dependant.

Because of my hand hold, I really only use one of the left side buttons on my mouse which I map depending on the game (reload, grenades, melee, inventory, interaction etc)

I can't use the W for walking, A for left movement and D for right movement, if I do, I get every crossed out... I have skinny and long fingers This is why I use the Right Mouse Button to walk and A&D for side movements... hardly use the S

Oh well... I still would love to know why I get that issue with the mouse button and only with that particular button.

    Makes sense :)

Maybe it's a ghosting issue with the mouse?

What do you mean by "Ghosting Issue"?

Also, now that you have been playing the game for a few more days... what else can you tell us about it?

If you played MW2 for instance... how do you compare the weapon/character move? more or less fluent, more or less seamless. I ask this because I love the fluently of the MW2 weapons. What do I mean by this? When I was walking or running and I stop, crouch and aim the movement was fluent and seamless, almost real... the previous OFP was just cumbersome, perhaps way to real, perhaps a certain slowness to it (when you were to take the weapon and aim down the sights it would take a looong time)... I don't know.

Ghosting is when simultaneous key presses cause registering issues. (one key dosen't register or can 'overide' a previous key press.

It's much more common with keyboards (which is why I bought a mechanical keyboard) - but I recall my Lachesis had some issues when trying to use more than 2/3 keys at once.

I haven't been playing as much the last few days (been swapping between Crysis2 and portal 2) so I haven't gotten as far as I did in the first few days.

Character movement is a little less fluid than MW2 and overall has a tad 'slower feel' - but it's far from being laboriously slow. Aiming is pretty standard FPS speed. Sight aiming doesn't feel slow to me.

Basically it's not finger twitching FPS responsive, but I personally have no issues with it.
