    Uncomfortable? Hardly...
I don't have one (yet), but all the reviews start out the same way:
"...looks weird, like it would be uncomfortable, but it's the most ergonomic mouse I've ever used..."

Mice are a personal thing imo..everyones hand is different so whats good for me may be a nightmare for someone else and vice versa..
    That's pretty much it.

Some mice suit claw grippers, others palm. And depending on style, hand size also comes into it.

I started with the Razer Lachesis which is sort of awkward, went to a DeathAdder which was very comfortable until it died, refunded it for an Sidewinder X5 which is comfortable for dekstop but not for gaming, so that's relegated to the laptop and I've since returned to the Lachesis.

You should ask yourself what style you are before asking 'what's the best mouse'. The best mouse for a palm gripper isn't necessarily the best for a claw gripper and vice versa.

My problem is that I don't know whether I am a Palm or Claw gripper!

    A rough idea:

The biggest difference between the two is that palm gripping uses a lot of arm movement vs claw grip which uses more wrist, minimal arm movement.

I guess I'm a palm gripper and the R.A.T. 7 fits me pretty well.

Well looking at the video and photos I am a combo. I hold my mouse like a palm but move it like a claw. I rest my palm on my pad but like the cheap pads because my hand does not stick to it and the light extra moving I do have to do my hand is not stuck to the surface.

But in windows I set my mouse speed near as fast as it goes over 3/4s speed so all I have to do is twitch or barely move my hand to hit any place on my screen. Just like the vid in claw [ i move my hand less than claw in the video]- but my hand lays over my mouse like palm grip- just the mouse does not support the weight of my hand and my thumb more less handles in and out movements me wrist more side to side but again - I barely have to move my hand at all.. If I lower my mouse speeds in windows the more I have to move my mouse or hand around..

My palm on my mouse pad supports the weight on my hand. I dont know I hate my hand feeling sticky or stuck using more hard surfaces- these cheap mouse pads have like a cloth on them even if get a lil wet with sweat my hand does not feel stuck in place and my hand feels more cool.. With the way I plant my palm on the mouse pad this mouse sits up a lil tall or for my small hands it can get un comfy but anything at the your desk it is best to change up sometimes any way and or you can get corpal tunnel what ever its called. Adjust your chair height a lil up down some times have a foot rest etc or not and change up at times.

Even with how I plant my hand on my mouse pad- I have my mouse pads I use 2 or 3 for extra cushion but I pull them hanging off of my key board mouse tray what ever its called on my desk so my hand more less is on the very edge of the tray and the extra pad give me cushion versus the pad all the way up on the tray and the hard corner exposed and will cut into my hand etc.. but because the pads hang off a lil my actual palm sits lower than the surface my mouse sits on. I am more comfy and faster and better precision etc.. I do not place my pads square either I have them at a lil angle the corner closet to me hangs off like 3" and goes to about 1" farthest away from me..

** You can kind of see it in this photo- this desk tray is not like most others just a flat board it has like another board in the front and stands up over 3/8" over the tray so I use card board to build it up so its flat. But because of it makes the tray stand higher versus if it did not have the board on the front- and my other desks tray sits a lil lower I like it better but the desk top its self is less deep. This desk has more top surface and is why I use it- Well they might be same the other desk is longer side to side but not as deep front to back..

My hand sits closet in to the me or the chair- the light spot is just I move my chair around some times as said change up what ever or rotate the pads some. moving stuff around for what ever reasons.. I guess that is dead skin maybe- I wash my pads every so often or rotate lower pads to the top etc. I have a clamp that keeps the pads in place so they can not get away from me and a back stop behind my keyboard so it does not slide away either. I only use the pad in front of the key board so my hand is a lil above my key board and is more easy for my thumb to hit my space bar during gaming and helps my smaller hands reach the keys etc. Its kind of comfy on my palm but is not what I use it for. My key board is also at a lil bit of an angle same as my pad just not as great an angle. Some games I more square up my key board just depends on the game and what my pinky etc has to do- or if maybe playing ut04 and run and gun etc etc etc.. I 2 finger type so..

Love my Haworth chair it was over 1900 bucks new. My bud gave it to me- his office was down sizing and got rid of some folks it was near new when I got it. The seat part my butt sits on is a lil large for my small body tho- but it has tons of adjustments and mesh back I love it.. Ha ha near 2x what my system actually costs.. The desk and lil side file table thingy was only like 100 bucks..>

Best mouse hands down, Razor mamba. No wireless lag, on the fly DPI, If you dont like wireless then you can also use it wired.
