    [SOLVED] WoW Lag Spike

    Hey everyone.

I have experienced lag spikes in WoW.
EVERY and I mean EVERY 30 sec or so I get like 5 sec of lag. I am able to run around and the dots on me is counting down (unless they reach 0, then they get stuck) and the other players CAN'T run.

I have already tested for spyware, tried to turn of WLAN AutoConfig (But then I can't connect to any internet), and even formatted my computer and reinstallted WoW.

This happened right after we changed our Internet Provider.

Anyone has a solution for this?

    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards

    Actually I've found a solution !!!

DL'ed a program called WLAN Optimizer and ENABLED "Streaming Mode".. That too care of the problem! Not getting ANY lag spikes anymore
Hope that can help some others too

There is a new setting in WoW for network load, I'm not sure exactly which patch this was initiated in but it was very recent. If you have a slower connection with possibly higher latency it's suggested that you turn this off. I'd be curious what your setting is and how it behaves on your new ISP.

As mentioned I've already found a solution

But currently my "Optimize Network for Speed" option is enabled :)
