    call of juarez

I've just downloaded Call of Juarez Bound in Blood from Direct2Drive and the game crashes at the point he pulls the gun in the opening movie. I've installed the patch for the game, the latest drivers for my computer and it still crashes every time! And before you suggest the "right click the game> properties> compatibilty" suggestion, i've tried it and when i right click the game icon there IS no "compatibility" option!!!! WTF am i supposed to do? anyone else got this problem?

Have you used games from this source before? You might have got a bum download....system spec's seem ok, but you didn't include the ram amount.....

Just update my spec. I've used the website loads of times and they generally work fine. I doubt it's the download cos forums are full of people complainign about exactly the same problem.

Seems to be a sound card problem....go to start/control panel/sounds/click on speakers/properties/advanced...see if its on CD 16 bit setting...if that fails might try updating the sound card drivers....
