    cant install "call of duty world at war" on my new windows 7 laptop


    Hi i just got a new laptop 64bit and it has windows 7 i tried to install my call of duty world at war but half way through the installation it gives me an error report is there any way to fix this?

    What message do you get? It would help if we knew what your hardware was. Can you fill in your system specs?

    well im not sure about what all the hardware is i just know that it is a windows 7 home premium 64bit intel processer 2.2 GHz 250 GB hard drive 2048MB ram intel graphics media accelerator 4500M, and the error msg it gives me is 1305. error reading from file E:|Setup|Data|main|iw_13.iwd. verify the file exists, and Error:_1603 fatal error during installation.

    You should be able to fill out the basics of your system specs from what you told us. However, I can probably tell you right away, with that graphics chip, you might not actually be playing CoD anyway.

    Where did you get the game from?

    Check the system requirements against what your system actaully has.

    i got the game from walmart a while back and i talked to a guy at office depot and he said something about a patch that i could download to get CoD WaW to work on my laptop

    You're using a laptop with onboard graphics. There may not be anything you can do to get the game at a playable rate. That's why, aside from a few very expensive options, laptops aren't meant for gaming, especially not FPS games.

    Given the minimums of the video cards listed, I think you may be out of luck.
