    Steam

Anyone else NOT able to log in? Everytime I start it, I get a Updating Steam window that just hangs at 0%, before finally erroring out. It says unable to connect. Could be the crappy internet here (not my home), but seems to be persisting.

Any thoughts? I think it may just be the crappy bugs in the RC. I know it has other issues with Steam.

While I don't actually know of a legitimate FIX, per se, I've found that whenever that happens to me a reboot usually fixes it. Either that or a reinstallation of Steam, anyway...

I wound up just launching Steam on start-up and leaving it running while the computer's on. It's not the most elegant solution, but in my experience this only happens when I close Steam and then later try to reopen it.

Neither worked for me, but I will try again.

The only problems I'm having with Steam is that it duplicates icons in my taskbar, so instead of gathering all steam windows in 1 icon on my taskbar, I get around 3 icons.

Alright. I am home now, so I can actually DO stuff.

I will mess some more with it. It seems to be working now though.
