The money you are going to spend for a game would be better spent and more meaningful to donate or give food
to those in homeless shelter's. IMHO

You can tell I am not a gamer!

I agree with Howling but I think the creator of this string was looking for a game to spend his money on. The guy who started this string may have given thousands of dollars to charity. My wife and I give to charity in one form or another all the time. However I don't come to this forum looking for charitable organizations. If I ask a question about what game I should or shouldn't buy with my money, I want responses along that line.

What if someone went to the forum of a charity site and started a post about how wonderful the Mass Effect was? Wouldn't that seem odd and out of place?

I would agree with that. We should simply answer the question as to what game we would prefer. Actually I'm not a gamer either. However as they say, "To each his own."

Sorry I got off on a tangent.
It's his money and can do what he wants with it.
I should have answered his question or stayed out of it all together.

No problem. It was no big deal and I'm sure that no one was offended. In my 80 years on this earth, I've said hundreds of things that later I wished I would not have said.:)
