Ok it's down to 11 just updated the usb host controller and now showing up to date.

In comparison it's not that many, I have 125 good drivers! bad drivers just mean they are out of date.

I think 2,3,9,11, are my keyboard mouse and gamepad, maybe?

    Down to 10.

but I have 3 that are not updatable, just wondering if you could check your system and tell me what version you have, they are,

    HID-compliant game controller - version: 6.1.7601.17514 Date: 2006.06.21
USB Input Device - version: 6.1.7601.17514 Date: 2006.06.21
USB Input Device - version: 6.1.7601.17514 Date: 2006.06.21 (Yes 2 of these the same)
    HID-compliant mouse - version: 6.1.7600.16385 Date: 2006.06.21

Apart from the mouse the first 3 seem to use the same driver, the driver checker says they are out of date, however I can't update them with anything newer? They also seem to be related to gaming devices, so hoping that this might be where my problem is....

Are the 3 that seem to be not updateable connected to the nec controller?

Yeah I have that driver and it is being reported as up to date.

Are the 3 that seem to be not updateable connected to the nec controller? I'm don't know but if they are why are they showing as not up to date? and the Renesas as up to date?

My n52te also shows and has a green tick, my G510 shows and has a green tick, my razer doesn't show at all?

yet when i uplug my razer and use a generic mouse (with keyboard and speedpad plugged in) I still am receiving error.

I know the g510 is compatible with FSX there are plenty of people online that use the G510 with FSX.

There has to be a solution to this, it seems so obvious but I just can't find any info on the problem!!!

    Closer to a FIX!

I went to devices and printers and right click on the mouse and keyboards that were generic and just unistalled them, leaving the G510 and Razer mouse, games load with these 2 items, as soon as I plug th ebelkin speed pads in all the generic drivers must load back up, but the belkin speed pad does not show up as a seperate device, so now I just have to find that generic driver running the n52te and uninstall it.

Most of the time those items that are not being updated have the software to run them such as your mouse and stuff I don't know why the manufacture didn't send a CD or other software to install with those 3 devices they should have..

no seth you don't understand, I did instll them all with there CD's even updated them all from their respective websites. But the problem still occurred, the problem I think is that those drivers were conflicting with the microsoft ones.

I'm still having problems with the belkin at the moment, as everytime I unistall those generic drivers the buttons stop working even though it's own driver is still installed.

The drivers for the Belkin would be out of date and/or not compatible with Windows 7 afaik. Razer reintroduced the n52 in 2010?.
I have the original n52 and could never get it to work on this OS. If you still want a speedpad you will most likely need to buy the Razer and use the drivers supplied with it which btw will not install on the Belkin despite the fact that speedpad (razer) looks to identical to the original except for the Razor logo.

It works fine, I did download some drivers for it and found it strange that they were from razer, which confused me because I have a razer mouse.

Anyway it works great, the only thing is I have to unplug it before I play certain gamer otherwise they won't load.

And it is because windows has installed the generic drivers as well as the razer ones I downloaded, the thing is if I uninstall one or the other, It stops working altogether.

I'm lucky because the games I want it to work with it works fine. It also works ok on all games if I plug it in once the game has loaded.
