Fallout 3 Freezing, Windows 7 64-bit. Please Help.

Hey guys, Sorry to bother you but I have recently bought Fallout 3 on steam, and It will not work! I have tried most fixes like the multiple core one unless I did it wrong and have a custom race mod. I have tried without it, it makes no difference. Please help I am totally clueless! Btw I have Win7 64-bit The sooner I can fix it,The sooner I can start my new fallout walkthrough series.

    Greetings 64kGamer,

Maybe more details will helps us reolve this issue, it appears your're on a laptop, what exactly is wrong? Freezing? Details details...

Does the game even start or just crash? Have you tried updating all of your drivers?

    --edit--

Also, Fallout 3 requires A LOT of resources to run, I'm afraid your GPU might not be able to keep up.

    I'm getting the same problem...

My PC specs (to my knowledge) are

    8.00 gigs of ram

    1 TB free of HDD

    3.6 GH of processor power

    1 gig of graphics

My motherboard is an ASUS M5A78L-MLX V2

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 520

P.S. I'm on a desktop computer, not an all-in-1 and not a laptop

Corrupt audio and video drivers perhaps? the first thing I would try is uninstalling the old drivers and installing a fresh and updated version from the manufacturer... every time I try updating from Windows Update my rig doesn't like it.
