    Hello, pepeniva.

I would advise trying this site to see at what standard you can run battlefield 3 on your laptop (This is of course for when you do own the game.) I'm not too sure how it would run myself just by looking at your specs Personally, Although this link should help.
    Can you Run this?

    Hope that helps mate. :)

Anyone play this game on a dual processor system? Haven't gamed in ages but BF3 looks pretty good. Here is what I have:
    Super micro X8DTI
    2 Xeon X5670 2.93Ghz hex processors
    24GB ram
    ATI 6950 2GB GPU.
    SB titanium sound card.

I've read shutting off hyper threading is recommended. Is it?

I tried BF3 single player on an AMD X3 450 and a GT240 and it played like crap (most likely due the slow GT240). Don't know what the settings were, just left it as is.

I also read about the hyper-threading and I have mine on on my i7 and have no issues.

Quad cores are what the game is optimised for..I have read ppl are having some problems with dual cores..HT on a dual would make it a quad in theory so it should be ok for you.

I'm running a quad so I don't know for sure how you'll go with it.

I have 12 cores/24 threads. If I decide to get it, will try with and without hyper threading to see what happens. Hoping the second processor won't screw things up.
