Screen Flickers While Playing EA Sports Cricket 07

    Hi,
I have been playing EA Sports Cricket 07 for a while now and used to work well with XP. But in Win7 there seems to be some problem with it the screen keeps flickering randomly while playing the game. I tried compatibility mode but it still continued. I really like the game and I don't have a system that can support latest games so I want a way to play this game and get rid of this flickering. So please suggest what should I do about this.

    Thanks,
    Chinu

    Update your Intel GMA driver
    Intel® Driver Update Utility

Windows 7 is not Windows XP. It uses a different type of display driver, gaming performance will vary depending on your hardware. Integrated graphics are not designed for gaming. :)

Thanks for replying. I have already updated the drivers everything is up-to-date. I know my system is not meant for heavy gaming but I want to play games, Should I add a graphics card to my current motherboard along with some ram??? Or should I change my motherboard itself? If I upgrade then what should I go for? Because every second day there is something new i and upgraded in the market. What do you suggest?

You can add a PCIe graphics card and 2GB more as your board supports up to 4GB of RAM. You would see a significant increase in gaming performance

A graphics card such as the Nvidia GT440, GT520 or AMD HD5670/HD6570/HD6670 would be a good upgrade for casual gaming.
