Gears of War 2 is quite possibly one of the best games I've ever played. (Gears of War 1 is a close second, but not as good as the second one!) It has an immersive storyline, easy to learn controls, raises video games to an art form, and has beautifully rendered graphics. Edit: Apparently it's only on Xbox 360, but I definitely suggest Gears of War 1 for PC!

Disliking 3rd person perspective must be pretty rough, as it seems just a lot of games are in 3rd person these days...
