Lol,yeah, saber are tricky, and the snowsabers are even worse .

And yeah, i had to fight a chick for some honor thing, and she wanted to be my companion too, but i gave the one i had from the beginning a full dwarven armor set with the dwarven shield and sword. So now it just looks like the huge golden bodyguard haha

So ... all this talk of dying to dragons, mammoths, giants etc does seem reasonable. But it does have me wondering about something.

Am I the only one here whos died to an old lady wielding a spoon?
She had some help I think, because I had a arrow in my back but still ...

Starting to think I just really suck at this game.

So i'm hearing a lot of complaints about the frames being locked at 30 FPS in NFS: The Run and LA Noire (The Complete Edition) on PC.. so now i'm wondering that it could be a big waste of money buying both the titles for PC when they are simply console ports. NFS: The Run on Frostbite 2 engine that sounds pretty sweet after playing BF3 of course and all those visuals but can't imagine playing a racing game at 30 FPS!!! So what should i do? go and get both the games for X360? of course i can save money on LA Noire for X360 as i can get it for pretty cheap price here + can get the DLC's later... what do you guys suggest?

Anyway this game just get better and better. I just killed another dragon and when I went to get my shout I as attacked by some wizard glideing through the air. Man that was that an epic battle.

This is such a great game. And to think I wouldn't have given a game like this the time of day about two years ago. I have Dragon Age to thank for turning me on to these games.

The human eye sees at 28fps, so if you can notice the difference between 30+ and say 60+ id consider you super human

Anything over 30fps is perfectly smooth. When you get lag and stutter below it, thats just your hardware tacking a virtual poop

I've been a long time out of PC gaming, but now I'm back and playing often:
    Flight Simulator X
    Dirt 3
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

If they are anything like some of the other console port games that are locked at 30FPS such as Alice Madness Returns, Fable 3 etc., it shouldn't be much of a issue removing that framerate cap.

A simple .ini tweak will remove it.

It really is as simple as finding a line in the ini thats somehting along the lines of:

Smooth Framerate=True and chaning to FALSE
    OR

MaxFramerate=30 and changing it to =60

    @Sygnus
    I agree :)
Though there a few issues and complaints I have with it, the gameplay itself more less cancells them. Enjoying it quite a bit.
One of the best games Ive purchased lately.

    Yeah it's called Steelport.
Bugger. That's a big reason why I never finished the second one
With analog gamepad all is pretty ok. Super fast sport cars are very sensitive at speed - very small corrections with stick needed :)
Actually this one is much much more polished than SR2. Finally there are some really beautiful car designs, radio stations are great... Simply can't stop playing... So much fun
