Yup thats what i keep telling everyone,im addicted to it.Other then Kingdom of amalur, not many other games are like this on PC especially you know,so this was a great find! Btw,do you perhaps remember how long it was? Is there a progress bar? I sincerely hope it doesnt end quickly.
Before when i was thinking of buying a game,i checked reviews of 3 games, this one, divinity 2ragon night saga and dungeon siege 3 and i remember reading in of them that it was 80 hours long,i just hope its TW2.Cant be dungeon siege 3 so TW2 or divinity 2 left.
PC: Minecraft and any of my steam games
Xbox: Halo 4, reach and 3
I want to say TW2 is somewhere in the area of 35ish or so hours ... It really depends on if you want to take your time and do everything or rush through it. But you're probably looking at 30-40 if I recall correctly its been a long time.
Divinity 2 is a very good game IMHO, and long if you get the Saga.
Its a action type RPG (combat-wise) I really liked it even though its not a hugely popular title. Divinty 2 Saga has the Original Game + Expansion and can take 80hrs, depending on your playstyle.
When it comes to RPG's,i always do my best to complete each and every quest i can find.Plus i have done a fair a amount of exploring in each game (so far,TW2 is the best in that aspect, wast greenlands, filled with so many different kinds of monsters) but it gets a bit easy after you level up,i can kill almost anything with one or two strikes unless its one of them ants.
And how does divinity 2 saga visually compares with TW2? I was saving money for the latest Devil may cry but i can get Divinity 2 instead and postpone DMC (or i can simply borrow it from a friend since it isnt an RPG and wont take that long to finish)
It doesnt really compare. TW2 looks better visually.
Its not thats its horrible visually, just not great. Heres a screenshot of what to expect.
The gameplay and game itself however does make up for its lack of visual beauty. I would choose it over DMC, BUT I have never been a fan of that series. Before you decide I would look at some reviews and gameplay footage of D2 on youtube to get a better idea of what to expect from the game.
Mainly because it is certainly one of those love or hate it games. Plus, you really got to stick with it for 30min-hr before it starts getting on its feet.
It also does something like Dark Souls does in the sense there are not really classes.
I mean, you choose one at the start melee, mage, archer etc .. but thats just a starting point that determines what spells/weapons you start the game with.
From that point on your on your own and have full acess to spec however you please in any class or a mix. You're not tied down to a certain skill set.
Currently playing I Am Alive...very surprised how much I am enjoying this game despite some of the negative reviews.
well it certainly isnt much to look at but since its not too bad,i can overlook that and just enjoy the gameplay. Ive never actually played DMC before either, tried once on xbox 360 about 2 years ago, hated it to be honest but this one looked good. Im gona buy D2 and wait for the prices to drop for DMC now, actually i already bought it last night lol.
And as far as the classes go,isnt it mostly same with TW2? I mean you cant be a Good mage, archer AND a meele warrior but you can definitely choose 2 of them.Im going with Meelee/archer type character only b/c in my opinion/experience,Mage's dont do much damage normaly unless you use specific cards and combos which is a pain in the ass.My accuracy is at barely 20 and i can take out one of those wolfmen with one fire arrow, its soo much fun Would have loved to be a Mage but i havent understood how to make good spells yet lol. ALso,in the main story line,i just went to Dattan and he made an army of crystal soldiers(This part) how much more story is left? By my count,i still have 2 more islands left to go to so i would say 65%? Ive completed almost all of the side quests.
Prototype 2. It looks miles better than Prototype 1, but it's a crash fest that runs very poorly.
In Prototype 1 I had one crash throughout the entire game, without any slowdowns; yet in Prototype 2, I've already had 3 crash to desktops (CTD's) and massive slowdowns, and I'm just starting mission 3
Anyway the game looks nice, and has potential, but crash crash crash. Seems the game has a bad case of memory leak
