still loving horizon though.
I played new Need For Speed Most Wanted and it seriously sucks! i think IGN was paid for the Review by EA and Criterion for giving it 9.0 Amazing! It's a burnout and another lazy port on PC! the girl who played voice acting talks worst than a 2nd grade Pornstar LOL! i hate EA and Criterion.
[QUOTE=smarteyeball;2149918]Yeah, I bought GT5 on the day it came out at full retail price. And regretted it the instant I started playing it Not only did the graphics not exactly look that great, but the realism of the vehicle movement... they sell it as a driving simulator, which the loading screen of the original Forza has reminded me so may times is meant to be a realistic experience. The 'damage' is abysmal, the realism of handling isn't realistic, the challenges to get vehicles are mostly impossible, and the whole thing just feels like GT4 with slightly sharper visuals.
(After I ranted about the HTC WP8 devices on PocketNow somebody said I "had a lot of hate in my heart". I don't think I do, but I do like polished, perfect products and visuals that some may think are awesome I may find just passable and not fantastic. So no, I'm not miserable, just a bit of a perfectionist )
I was slightly looking forward to the new Most Wanted and was overjoyed that I could get to a Porsche so soon into the game. The intro credits that lead into the game felt pretty dramatic and cool, but once you really get into it, it's just Burnout Paradise with real cars. The handling is pretty shocking (the style suited 'track' like roads in HP, but city roads in MW really needed BP style handling to be playable). Really, I'm disappointed by it. The shameless EA brands plastered all over the city, once again a waste of the Porsche exclusivity, plus it not being on Steam due to EA thinking they have a shot with making Origin become popular... overall not that impressive a game
I brought some Microsoft points yesterday, so going to download Skyrim: Dawnguard tomorrow evening or Monday morning, and then start playing through the Skyrim DLC for a few days.
