Sorry don't understand. Do you want a copy a of laptopscreen on tv, or just extend it to to other monitor? use flag+p it has all options.

Or is the problems just the fact that "computer only" means "tv" now and vice versa?

in "resolution screen" you can select both output screens. And you can make one the main screen. Make your laptopcreen the main screen
