They should just hire some gamers and I'm sure they could find plenty of the bugs and get them fixed before launch. They must have a terrible bug finding team.

Well despite all that it is a better game on release than that dreadful Fallout New Vegas
But yeah they do need more game testing, and longer development time. If anything, enough of this "we gotta get it out by such and such date, no matter what" mentality
Still, bugs and all people cant seem to stop playing this, me included. So the way I see it, is the game has been launched, and thats it, they cant do anything about that, they rushed it and has allot of bugs but its allready out. Now they can make a patch to fix those bugs, however this time they should not rush, i think they should take there time, and create one uber patch that solves more than 90% of the well known bugs. So by rushing to finish it wednesday, will still leave some major bugs, and maybe they keep some people happy with a quick patch for a litlle while....but eventually they are going to need a nother patch again and again, so imho make one patch, even if its over a gig in size, but make a patch that solves 90% of the bugs AND adds direct x 11 to the game, so that all can see its worthy of download. Even if we have to wait for another week or more, atleast we will have a sucsesfull patch with some cool bonus features...?
Also found a nother mask today, if any one has one I didn't mention, please let me know, they are kinda cool( i am refering to the masks you get when you kill certain famous dead guys) the ones I have are: Volsung, Vokun, Otar , Morokei , Clavicus Vile and Krosis, they all give a litlle boost, mostly the ones I have boost magic and/or speach
I've only found two masks so far
And as far as the bug list goes. Anyone that has ever worked on any software knows that the bug lists are always huge. You have to prioritize them and you take care of the really big ones first. But new bugs are always found and the list grows as you are shrinking it.
Take a look at the mozilla bug list sometime if you want to be scared:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/describ...roduct=Firefox
Click on any one of the 2 dozen sub components and look at the dozens or hundreds of bugs for each one!
It is pretty ballsey of them to publish that list, but I can tell you there is not a single piece of software you use on ANY os that doesn't have a list just as depressing. You would have to give up computing entirely :)
Haha, yeah your right, but I still think they should take there time with the patch, test it out first and improve on it before release
Yeah, there are two on that list marked in red as in RED FLAG. Those should have been fixed in this week's release and aren't...
At least one of them (the generic broken quest bug) was bigger than anything they are releasing on Wed., but maybe the fix was just going to take too long to hold up some of the "lower hanging fruit" being fixed this week...
Truthfully, I've run into several of the bugs being fixed in this weeks patch far more often than most anything else on that list including the two red flag ones...
Choosing which bugs to fix and when is quite the art...
Yup, i never had that quest problem bug, the only ones i got were gerting kicked out the game, but changing the sound mhz fixed that, getting purple armor at some points and i resently got a major one where the game freezed and would never resume, but i fixed that by removing a bad mod i installed, so that was my own doing. But all i honestly want from a new patch is if they can add dx 11 with high intense graphics
Heh yeah, that'd be nice, though it looks pretty awesome so far. My only gripe is my 480 card is slightly underpowered at times and have to keep the draw distance down further than I would like leading to noticable popup. (Course also running at 1920x1200)
I tried out the Ambient Occlusion driver last night and that makes it look really nice! Much less washed out, better local contrast, at night or indoors or undergound is especially good. But it took even more FPS off and I think it messes with the AA somehow too. So I may have to turn that back off sadly. But anyone with a 560 or above should give that a try.
Hey guys.
So this is actually the first time I'm playing this game, and I must say that I'm perfectly fitted for it. It's very worth the wait, and the Elder Scroll's Saga's game: Oblivion should also be as epic as Skyrim shots.
Regarding the technical stuff, I run the game perfect at a good 150-200 fps. The only issue I experienced was running downstairs for the first time. It was very laggy at that point, but I think it was autosaving though.
I'm running game at full resolution and everything on ultra with no issues. My card is GTX 560 ti.
There's a BETA-release on Nvidia series driver increasing some stuff below.

I will post back as I digg into the story. :)
