Wait, wait, wait! Steam workshop? As in... the creation kit is going to have to be run with Steam too?! If that's so, I will:

Then again, maybe the fantastic Razor 1911 team will break Steam away from it like they have for Skyrim itself. I ♥ them! Saving one system from Steam at a time...

Last night steam was flaking out on me. I swear if steam ever prevents me from playing a game I paid for for even 5 minutes... I'm going to go level 80 dragonborn on their asses!!

Two disturbing things. 1) It said I was trying to log into from a different computer and had to reverify my computer which is not true. and 2) Once verified I could still not play Skyrim because "That game is not currently available, try again later". WTH???

I love the positive aspects of steam, but this is just truly not acceptable

I love skyrim allot, and its easy to critisize on others hard work, and i dont ussually stop plying a game just cause it has a few bugs, but i get CTD's every 5minutes, its getting out of hand, so gonna stop playing skyrim just for this week, till the new patch comes out, i cant even finish a quist then it exists the game

@ fseal, I played for a few hours last night and hadn't noticed any steam issues. I know Steam had a stickey up notifiying everyone that there was an attempted security breech a few weeks back, in fact I got an e-mail from them notifying me that I sould change my password. Perhaps you should do the same just in case.

Steam Users' Forums - Announcements in Forum : Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls V

@ Alsisgevat - have you tried deleting/moving all but your last 10 or so save files?

To eveyone else - he's gone, let's move on.

    Thanks.

Yeah I changed my password right when the email came out... Though... couldn't hurt to change it again now.

I went to the forums and there was no sign of a massive outtage or anything. Still, very irritating that my minute by minute use of the game is dependant entirely on net access to a third party :/

You can try playing offline - Open Steam, Click Steam, and choose Go Offline, and see if that helps with your issue.

I was pretty sure that that was not an option for Skyrim. Someone said they did that and the game would not run till they reconnected live. But worth a try I suppose, would be good to know.
