Yeah :)
Was blown away when I first saw it.
This must be what it's like to be a WoW player - if I wasn't playing this game it would be another language to me, like WoW is
This game has some amazing places, and outside some bad textures here and there overall the graphics are great.
here's a video that i made, showing my shouts unlocked and stats page, still uploading as i send this so give it about 20 minutes from posting, Armor is dragonscale(legendary) and my weapon is daedric bow (legendary) but also have gauntlets of major archery(25%), ruby ring with 16% archery and also ebony helmet of extreme archery(30%) so it takes my bow skills to 144 and 24 damage on the daedric arrows.
Ugh, Dragons being a PITA last night :P
Had two at once at once point. I hope it was because I was exploring a relatively new area and not because I'm leveling up. I do NOT want the dragons to become like the oblivion gates where they just /constantly/ pop up every time you venture out of your house. The gates actually made me give up Oblivion entirely, it was so utterly repetitive and annoying to be interrupted that constantly.
One dragon a night is nice. 10 a night will make me stop playing (Well unless I craft that ultra powerful bow that can bring a dragon down in one shot )
The near constant wild animal attacks are bad enough... And well even then that wouldn't be too bad if you could use ranged weapons from horseback. (Was completely awesome in Red Dead Redemption)
The oblivion gates could be avoided by going around them which I did. However at least you got some valuable stuff going through the gate, notably the Sigil Stones. WIth the dragons you get some gold, bones, and maybe some armor or weapons, but yeah, you do get tired of them after awhile as they just become pests.
The animal attacks can be negated temporarily if you've got the "Kyne's Peace" shout.
Yeah the game can get monotonous if you don't develop different strategies on dealing with enemies and animals, or have the necessary gear.
However the Dragons are another story as you either fight them or stay inside a building or cave for a few hours.... I did this once and it worked, but I won't say it'll work all the time.
Personally I’d of loved to see something that says once you finish the Dragon Slayer quest dragons no longer attack you unless attacked. On the other hand that would be kind of messed up as you waltzed through a town and let the dragon destroy it
Heh I'll try keeping the pace shout equipped while I'm out and see how that goes
Course you can just run away and ignore the attacking animals but just hearing them constantly on your tail nipping at your horse is plenty annoying considering how much time I spend travelling.
When in battle I keep the maxxed out force shout loaded. When you get beset upon by multiple enemies or just one that is too powerful and you need a break to change weapons it works great. Besides just being plain awesome to use/watch. Blowing a crowd of enemies off their feet for a few seconds is pretty great. :)
One handed destruction attacks takes care of small animals like wolves. For larger ones I don't feel like dealing with Kyne's Peace works wonders and it makes them easier to kill if you want, though is it a bit unfair :)
I know man freaking wild life. i was going to some fort near the snowy mountains by solitude, and i said '' there better not be bears'' . guess what i see a couple steps down the road? a snow bear, short story long and i turned him into an area rug.
