It seems to get worse the higher you level too. Sabre tooths, bears and trolls now come in packs of 2 or 3 frequently. I am almost ALWAYS under wildlife attack during dragon fights now too.

I know man freaking wild life. i was going to some fort near the snowy mountains by solitude, and i said '' there better not be bears'' . guess what i see a couple steps down the road? a snow bear, short story long and i turned him into an area rug.
Yeah the higher the level the easier they become. I remember being owned by a Sabre Tooth tiger at level 12 - What Games Are You Playing? [2] at level 42 I smack em around like they're some low like wolf

Anyway although some baddies are supposed to level with you, some are pretty easy to defeat, though there are some pretty high level bosses even at level 42 that'll give you a run for your money.

Quick story - I was on a quest to investigate a cave, ran across a high level baddie, prepared myself with all sorts of lotions, potions, armor, weapons, and magic.... one hit and he went down! I was like well that was anti-climatic... WTF

Don't think I'll get that lucky again

The high level arch mages are a terror. The ones with rapid fire ice spears do the most damage on me. I have some anti-frost damage armour enchantment but not nearly enough!

The higher level enemies seem to mainly be all magica users. Building up your magica protection skills becomes more important. Otherwise sneak and a powerful bow with stagger perks or better are pretty good offence against them.

Being that I'm a Dark Elf I focused on destruction spells right off the bat :)

I had shown a picture earlier of my character wearing the Archmage robe - Discuss Skyrim

Can't believe I still haven't played this, but I finish University tomorrow for Christmas, and my girlfriend's buying me it as an early Xmas present, so I'll finally have a go.

My only dilemma now is fitting it around the time I'm gonna spend playing Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Good game but it goes on and on and on - you basically decide when it's time to quit - How Do You Know When It's Time to Stop Playing Skyrim? Right now I'm sitting at 191 hours of playtime invested

Note that the first five achievements in that list are actually done but for some reason they still remain locked. I sent a TS ticket to steam to see what the issue is but haven't heard anything from them, nor am I holding my breath waiting on their response. Anyway that's where I am, 191 hours played.

Well I'm getting to the point where I need to take a break. And creating another character and starting all over agian doesn't appeal to me at this point in time. That's me.

I accidentally finished the main quest last night at level 47.

The last few quests start to run together like the finale of a movie and though your given a couple of opportunities to opt out of continuing for now it was sort of like taking a bathroom break during the action sequence a the end of a movie so I played it through.

Yeah I finished the main quest and civil war about a week ago. Now I'm currently in the process of doing the thieves guild and other minor quests.
