Anyone do most of the Companions quest line?

Not sure how to phrase this without giving anything away for those who haven't but ...

    I feel a bit silly....
I was getting near the end of the main companion quest lines before I even realized I had a daily power from helping them

That & Im not sure if I should keep it or not.
What did everyone else do? just curious
i had also forgotten about it, but it kept it. i hardly use it tho. between the shouts and all that jazz you forget about it. i remember using recently to clear out some witches.

LOL - I didn't know there was a daily power from them. Anyway I finished the quest but didn't join the circle.

I really should learn to keep quiet - I've joined the CTD and purple club now, lol.

And one things that's bugged me since oblivion/Fo3/NV - in all of these 'deserted/filled with animals or dead things' - who the hell keeps lighting and replacing the candles?

    An official LAA!

We’re also planning on rolling out support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware) next week for our PC users. Stay tuned!
Skyrim Update 1.3 now on Steam | Bethesda Blog

Wonder what happened to that newer update supposed to come out this past week...that didn't.

    Guess that answers that:

Update is still in testing. Once we can make it available, we will.

They posted that during the week before last week (December 7th), so "next week" would have been sometime this past week (Dec. 11-17).

Yeah they did hint it was supposed to be released last week. Oh well.

BTW I was trying to help a poster over at Bethesda's Skyrim forum - Skyrim takes ages to launch... - Bethesda Softworks Forums and came across this article from Steam Support - Verifying Game Cache Files (GCF)

If you have problems with missing models, video artifacts (purple and black checkerboards) or unexpected crashes, please follow the steps below to use Steam's Verify integrity of game cache feature to identify and replace corrupted Steam cache files.
Note that it mentions the color Purple

Just in case :) - Open Steam, right click game's exe, click properites, click the "LOCAL FILES" tab...

I'm not saying it's going to help 'cause well.... I've run it before, but you never know

One of the first things I did, also posted about it further posts back, doesn't fix it at all.

Maybe an immediate temp clear of it if any, but just comes back at some point..

Yeah that's usually one the first things I do a well with any steam game I suspect of acting wonky.

And you may have posted this a while back but thread is 45 pages, you know how we're too lazy to go that far back. Besides this one has pictures
