I save a LOT. up to about 1700 saves now. I always save after every little skirmish. On expert I'd be replaying skirmishes far too often for it to be fun. Adept was a pretty good middle ground, though at times id did get a little too easy as I leveled up faster than the enemies did in some cases.

There were even a couple places where I set it to easy to get by something I didn't have the health, potions or patience for. Like I said if I can;t get something down in 4 tries it wears thin. Though I never consoled my heath up to 9999 or anything like that like so many people do :/

Know the feeling. That's why I've a long list of unfinished games.

So far the only time I've touched the console is to fix a quest glitch or remove stuck items.

Cheating on a quick 2nd shits and giggle run might be all-right, but not on a first run. It'd just make the game boring.

Found this mod on google, I did not make it, just using it, it is VERY different, and I know a bunch of people are gonna complain and say its destroys the game and doesn't fit and so on, but i uploaded pix , and the main reason i am using this is cause it looks awesome, its funny and i am bored with skyrim so this helps haha. here they are.

You can get it on nexus skyrim, or search jedi skyrim on google, the fun part is that you need a very high deadric smith skill to craft them and you get various colors, and the same modder made jedi robes for males, so go to nexus forims and search for jedi. And i am glad i am note the only one thatlikes it haha

I haven't bought a dog yet, but have used Meeko the orphaned dog a bit. He has a bad habit (like Lydia) of getting in between me and the target. This usually results in Meeko sprouting an arrow out of his head at best, or getting killed. Most depressing, because he's a nice doggie otherwise. Great at intercepting wolves and frost spiders when I'm jogging out in the open.

I've settled for leaving him outside any dungeons I'm exploring and using a conjured familiar if the need arises.

Didn't know you could buy a dog

After lydia, I don't even like having NPC 'companions' even if they are part of a quest. All of them just get in the way
