    Can't restore after minimize (screenshots).

I decided to try out the "Belzebub" mod for the old Diablo 1. Works great. But I discovered that if I switch out of full screen to windowed mode and then minimize, I can't get back.

I discovered that this problem does NOT occur if I run the game from another Account on the SAME computer, so it is not the fault of the (very old) game itself or my hardware/drivers. But I tried disabling every startup Service & App and it made no difference.

The game runs perfectly, both full screen & windowed. I just can't minimize it without losing it.

When I switch out of Full Screen, everything is fine.

Then I minimize and it goes to the Taskbar:

But then it won't restore. It acts like it "tries" to restore with what looks to be the preview flying UP from the Taskbar then immediately back down like it was minimized again in less than a second. So using the above peek, I'm able to switch it back to "Full Screen" mode and I get this instead:

...a frameless window (it thinks it is full screen) the size it was running at when in full screen (1152x864).

As I noted above, this doesn't happen in a "clean" user account on the same computer. I can restore the minimized window and switch back to full screen with no problem.

Some of the "solutions" I've tried:

o Logo+Tab (and Alt+Tab) to switch focus to the minimized app.
    o Shift+Logo+Left Arrow x 3 (Right arrow too.)
o Disabling all startup Services & apps.

Any ideas? Not a "huge" problem, just annoying. Thanks. :)

Try a different screen resolution? Not the game but Windows itself before starting the game.

Can't think of much anything else at the moment.

    Thanks for the reply.

Changing my Windows resolution to match the game does not change the inability to raise the window.

As noted above, I can get the game window to appear again if I set the game back to "full screen" mode, causing it to appear in a borderless box the same size as the chosen resolution. if I dial down my Windows resolution to match the game, it'll fill the entire screen, but just getting the window to raise is the bigger problem.
