    Darn Flatout

Anybody else into this franchise? I'm on Ultimate Carnage right now, and this game is tons of fun, but I'm driven to madness by the following things:

    1. When you're on your last lap, things are going fine, and you car spins out of control as the result of hitting or running over some debris. Ultimate Carnage really makes you dodge a lot of crap in the tracks.

    2. When you're on your last lap, and again things are going fine, and again your car spins out of control as the result of an opponent nudging or slamming into the back of your vehicle.

    3. When the outrageous physics model actually results in a car wiping out in front of you, whereby you then make contact with it with your front bumper and up literally pushing it for fifty yards while half the other drivers pass you by.

    4. When you are involved in a ten-car pileup ten seconds after the race starts, forcing you to start the race over ... and over ... and over.

At least I've learned that in order to progress further in career mode, you absolutely must spend your money on the better vehicles.

All in all, I've really had fun with this series of games.

In flatout crashing is more the central point than winning is....
