    I got same problem!

So i downloaded steam and the files. and all games works perfectly exept Counter Strike source.
The thing that happens is that when i start the game i see the backround image and it says loading.
and nothing more happens. tho if i mouse over the menu you can hear the sound from it. and the mouse pointer will turn into a | when mousing over the console. problem is that i cant see the menu or console! it just says loading!

This is the stuff i have tryed:

    Changing ressolution
    Changing the dx level
    manually entering a new ress
    updated gfx driver
    update direct x
reinstalling the game (still same problem, due i deleted all game files before reinstalling it)
then after reinstalling do all above

This is realy anoying me. so i hope for a quick answer.

    Thanks for all help!

    Ok i somehow fixed it!

Ok i got this fixed now.

    what i did:

Right click on the desktop. click on Nvidia controll panel.
in there go to display -> adjust desktop size and position
Then use nividia scaling worked for me!

Also i use the commands: -dxlevel 90 -w 1920 -h 1080 under launch options to set the ressolution.
