    Sound Issues with WoW

Just bought a new comp, Windows 7 64 bit. Came with a SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer. Had sound issues which I researched and saw all the problems with Creative so I ordered an HT Omega Claro Plus. Fixed most of the sound issues after install except for the main one I was concerned with. When I loud World of Warcraft the sound is fine until I start moving my mouse around. With every movement of the mouse I get loud popping crackling noises which eventually kills my sound completely. I saw an older thread about this exact problem but had no solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Might we get your system specs so we know what hardware you have?

Another thing, I ran DPC latency checker and it goes off the charts when WoW is loaded and I move my mouse, when I leave the mouse alone and just have WoW running in the background the latency goes back to normal.

Update: Just ran Windows Performance Toolkit and the Xperf results showed what looks like ataport.sys causing my issues. Not sure what this means but it has a 5 ms Max Actual Duration on the chart way above all the rest.
