Can you check your event viewer for me please, and see if there are any events at the time your game froze.

when i read your post i tried loading the game, had to reset the computer, when it restarted, i looked in the event viewer, but i dont really know how to use it. Could you please direct me to where to find the events at that time?

OK, so it doesn't appear to be a conflicting application. Are you running 32bit or 64bit windows 7?

Call Of Duty 4 Multiplayer wont load ...
Ok, so i have installed call of duty 4 (genuine key obviously) and i can pay single player fine :D But when i try to load multiplayer, it come up with a black screen for about 2 seconds, then returns to the desktop without any error message or anything. :confused: Any ideas ?

Call of duty 2 multiplayer does not work, but the single player does. I have windows 7 and got it recently (yesterday) and I have no idea why it won't work! Someone please help me and tell me what i need to do. Ps. I do not know much about computers so please be specific! Thanks
