In Mac OS does it show which display graphics adapter is enable?
I just want to make sure that by default its reading the graphics to rule out the possibility of it being disable.

How would I figure that out on Mac OS?

I been re reading the entire thread,
earlier another member suggested a great link,
I have a lot of hope for these drivers to work
Apple Boot Camp XP Software Graphics Drivers
They are design for Windows 7 32 bit Mac Boot camp
If you have already tried these let me know
Oh... I forgot I never replied to the other member. Unfortunately, that update didn't work.
UPDATE: When I try to run Portal 2 now instead of the screen showing no action, I get a Steam pop-up saying "Steam is launching Portal 2" then the screen goes black for a split-second as if the game is about to run then it disappears and goes back to the desktop. I was wondering if you knew what this meant.

Yes i have, it's an issue discuss many times with Steam players, however I dont have experience with it.
However it could be a DirectX Issue which is related to your graphics.
All of the problems you mention are basically the symtoms.
Give it a minute, maybe someone else will reply and help us out :)
There is always hope :)
From Rear WindowsI got it working. I popped back in my iMac 10.6 installation disc and it automatically installs all the needed material. My experience index reads 7.2 for graphics and gaming graphics. Thank you so much for your help and support.
It's been fixed and solved, I had a small gut feeling it was somehow Boot Camp needing an update.
