    windows campibility problems for game PRINCE OF PERSIA.


    i cant play this game (prince of persia) properly,,, the screen gets hangd for few sec's and again resumes back, in the mean while if i am active with ma keyboard or mouse my pc get crash down while making some loud wierd sound. actualy this game is for windows xp or vista only. but flipkart told me it will work on my pc.
    i've got windows 7 ultimate x64, i7 2600,mobo:dh67cl,4gb memory,1gb grfx card. please help me out.

    What kind of Prince of Persia are you trying to run, namely? Ensure that your Graphics Card Driver is updated. Update your GFX Card through the manufacturer's site. Sapphire Technology Web Site

    Do update Direct X. Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

    its just prince of persia (2008). Not the two thrones o sands of time. And i've got 1more problem too i cant instal intel graphic media accelerator. Is dis bcoz i already instaled the gfx card. And the pc is just few days old. I got dirctx 11.

    Try running the game in compatibly mode for vista or xp,right click on the games icon then click properties and then go to the tab called compatibility and check the box run this program in compatibility mode for and then choose vista or xp

    have you scanned your hdd for errors? do /sfc scannow in command prompt to scan for any errors or corrupted files in windows. A system error could possibly be the cause of the hang.

    Why would you install Intel Graphics Media Accelerator?
    Do update your GFX Card driver, if you haven't with the link I gave in my previous post.
    Also, update your Direct X 11 using the link I gave.

    big headache, my roommate actly instald the intel graphic media aceltor,changd the bias setup and he unplugd the dvi cable from gfx card and plugd it into the mobo. . . Btw it was working but when i tryd to use the gfx again. . . By removing the dvi cable from mobo to gfx. Nw i cnt see my windows desktop. . Am goin crazy please help me out. . .

    problem ws solved. There was sumthn wrng with ma gpu. Company hs replced it and i updated the driver agn, nw its workn k. Thanks. . . u guyz!

    glad to hear your pc is working how it should with your game. Yeah sometimes gpus go bad,good thing you were able to get a replacement from the manufacture though.
