Ok, click this link Realtek and select the second driver down from the top, then choose the server closest to you from the right, I'm assuming hong kong(HK) is closest to you (Austral-Asia), hopefully this will give you the tools to eradicate the elusive static

when you plug your mic in, you'll get a realtek control panel come up, it'll ask you what device you've plugged in, when your mic is plugged in, you will get a mic options window, this will display the following options
Recording issues with recorders (fraps hypercam etc) sound issues-realtek-noise-suppression.jpg
now all you need to do is check the noise suppression option

I have that option on my current version but its greyed out, is that because of my hertz settings?

ok it stilll greyed out and clicking it did nothing, when i switched it from stuido 16 bits 192000 hertz to dvd quality 48000 hertz it become ungreyed, and i was able to tick it, im testing now to see if this stopped the problem

fixed static but maybe another problem?

hey guys thanks again for solving my static problem but i think i may have run into another, my voice on the recording sounds... i dunno different a bit? like it doesnt sound as clear. was this because i lowered the hertz to enable noise suppression?
