how to i run Fallout 3 edit. sorry i am not the most tech experienced person
Its not important and is not needed.

Hmm... Well if it doesn't work, you could try using the New FOMM instead.

Are you launching the game through FOMM? You should be.
Use the games original launcher to set your graphic settings (resolution etc) but use FOMM to start the game.

@Wishmaster - There is no real need to launch Fallout 3 from FOMM, I think its just for convenience.

Would you have any ideas why it ain't saving? I can't think properly now, too tired .

FOMM ensures everything loads as it should in the load order, where as the game launcher doesn't always. Or at least, thats always been my thinking of it.
I have had cases where there issues if FOMM didn't launch the game in the past.

The only reason I can think of is if the game was not installed as : Run as Admin & Vista Compatabilty mode.
Ive always had to do that to prevent some issues, but running the game and any mod managers never needed any admin rights.

Well, I myself have never needed to launch in FOMM so... ya.

I guess OP could try launching from FOMM to see if that works, then we'll proceed from there.

Well our problem now is that we need to be able to make FOMM save the load order settings, because the load order is what is causing the crash. I suspect that FOMM is launching Fallout 3 without the load order you set yourself, thats why its still crashing...
