Advice for games on new PC...

Hello, firstly sorry for posting here and if this is in the wrong thread, please help me to move it.

So, I am planning to buy a new PC and got tons of help from the forum and thanks them again. I would like to check if which of my setup would be able to handle Diablo 3 in all high settings and also other modern games with decent settings?

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600.9 4GB x 2
Graphics Card: nVIDIA GeForce GTX560 (2GB)
HDD: WD Black 1 TB
SSD: Intel 330 60 GB

1.) Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 with i5 2320
2.) Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 with i5-3450
3.) Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 with i5-3550

The only component that's changing is the processor, so go with the one that best fits the budget.

Most likely, but a lot more goes into gaming than just the processor. The easiest solution is to buy the fastest one that fits the budget.

yeah any of those cpus along with the other components you mentioned can run diablo 3 without problems.Just make sure you get a good power supply to handle all those parts power that they draw like a 500-600watt, I would recommend corsair,I use a cx600 without problems on my rig.

I guess I should have explained my point better. When I'm building a new PC, the processor is actually the last component I buy. My reason for that is, once I choose a family, I get the motherboard and other components. Then, I buy the fastest processor that fits my budget...or the fastest one that's reasonably priced.

Those are the first choices, yes. But why lock in on a specific processor until the very end (especially when prices drop all the time). I'll give you an example. My system is running an i7-2600. I knew I wanted a Sandy bridge proc, so I specced out all the other components around that family of processors. When it was time to buy, Intel issued a price cut on them, and I went from an i5-2400 to the i7-2600 for only a few bucks more than I planned to spend.

I think you misunderstood my point. I choose the processor family first. Then I go about the other parts. Since I chose a P67 board...I can then run any Sandy Bridge proc....so I picked the best one that fit my budget. Had I bought the processor first, I'd be running an i5 instead of an i7.
