I am an average gamer not too hardcore, I own a PS3 and a Desktop that I use to play games.

I have played Dragon Age 1 and 2, BF3, Sims 3. I like the games that they published. I LOVE BF3. It's one of my favorite FPS games, you can play on foot, air, vehicle it's fun.

They have great titles, i have never heard of them bribing for reviews.

I have learned one thing about gaming though, it's a hobby and not a cheap hobby. On average a person can spend at least $300 to 1,000 a year. Depending on how many games they buy aside from any extra peripherals and hardware. These companies are in it for the money, video games are a business. What we CAN DO! Is vote with our wallets.

So far my favorite game I bough this year is Heavy Rain for PS3. The same people who made Heavy Rain are going to make Beyond, Two Souls. I can't wait for it.

The problem here is that 1 or 2 out of 10 vote with their wallet... the rest don't even vote because they are using Mommy's wallet!

NOTE: The following video has a split second of profanity at 0:38 and a split second of a possible insult to Americans at 5:17.

I always wait for the prices to come down on new releases, and I buy
discounted or second-hand games at sales etc.

But I will not buy ANY game that forces me to go online, either to play
the game OR to 'validate' it.

Nor will I buy a game that relies on paid DLC or requires a subscription
    in order to play it.

I do not game online, and have no intention of doing so.
