How do I make a game compatible for a 64-bit computer?

I downloaded Call of Duty 2, and it is not compatible with my 64-bit computer.

Maybe this sound stupid but try to connect a "microphone".. and be sure to enable it in windows so it works..

(Maybe u have an headset with one on it?) This game is known to crash without connecting one .

If it still doesnt work.. set your sound frequency to 24bits / 48000Hz

Right click on the .exe file and click compatibility, then select xp sp 3 and run it. Works fine on my 64bit version.

    As suggested try compatability mode.
Not sure what the issue may be, but I had no problems with CoD2 (retail disc) on my x64 system.
I can not remember if I needed compatability mode though ....
