screen freezes on saints row but can still hear game

hello, i have been playing saints row the third on my laptop a lot recently and everything has been running fine, but now when i open it it goes onto start menu but as soon as i launch campaign it will freeze on loading screen but if i use the keys to move around and fight i can still hear my character doing it.

I have the same problem more or less, sometimes the game freezes for a moment, you can still hear everything, then it continues to work normally. No other game does that so it's not my PC. Lets hope someone answers.

check the games config file. see if anything changed on you. the other thing you could do is remove and reinstall the game.
