Nice to see you got it resolved. The guy's are great on here :)

But i just wanted to step and give my point of view on UAC (I won't saw want i really think it stands for lol) But to me it is the most pathetic piece of the whole Windows OS ever!

The first thing i do is disable it completely whenever i do an install. It's just all about "Are you sure you want to install this software?". Errrmm yeh. Otherwise i wouldn't be trying in the first place...

But for the user's that aren't sure and want that bit of extra information i suppose it's ok. Not saying you are one of them people but you know what i mean, i'm sure :) But for myself it's disabled. Period! On systems i build and install for others i disable it when installing the OS and all the other required software and then once i'm all done i re-enable it for them. But you'd be surprised how many of these people ring me up later asking what these annoying message's are they keep getting

Thanks. Glad yu got it working. Weird that you had to reboot but hey it works.

    Thanks for the compliments.

    Enjoy the game.

    Peace

@ taylorig, UAC does serve a purpose if you understand what it's doing. I consider myself a very savy power user and I wouldn't turn it off. To each his own though.

Anyway this debate can be had elsewhere, but not for this thread.

    My two cents.
