    Ok, so now right click on the empty space, select New, then folder, and type in the folder name that I wrote earlier on in my guide, which is

    My Battle for Middle-earth(tm) Files

    and then follow the rest of the instructions from my earlier post.

    solarmystic said:

    1.) Add an Options.ini file in the C:\Users\[your login name]\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth(tm) Files folder

    (Right click in that folder, New, Text Document, save as..., Options.ini)

    2.) Put the following content in that newly created file:

    Code:
    AudioLOD = High
    HasSeenLogoMovies = yes
    IdealStaticGameLOD = High
    Resolution = 1024 768
    StaticGameLOD = High
    TimesInGame = 5
    Hope that helps!

    Just to be sure, upload another screenshot of the folder you put the file in and the file itself. I want to be sure that you've got the file in the right location and have the right contents in it.

    Okay, looks like you're good to go... Cross your fingers and run the game.. hopefully it won't crash this time...

    EDIT:- Your second screenshot is a duplicate of the the 1st. You didn't upload the folder that contains the file, i need to see whether you have the correct folder name.

    Ouh.. THAT was your problem? You didn't mention that clearly

    All you said was it stopped responding... so i assumed it loaded and crashed!

    Hmmm... wrong CD inserted means that the anti-piracy check routine of the program doesn't recognise your disc as legitimate.. where did you get the game from?

    If it's legit, try and check the disc for scratches or dents...
