HI, hagg, check to see if there is a patch for the game from their site, and also ,have you got the latest drivers installed for your graphics card.

hey jfar. i tried installing the latest (nvidia 181.71) drivers but windows wouldn't let me (ie it froze and blacked out and i had to restore the system). i then tried updating the driver via device manager but windows believes i have an up to date driver. it is very frustrating. also, crysis won't run on my system. it 'stops working'. if anybody has a solution to either of these problems LET ME KNOW PLEASE.

i'm inclined to think windows 7 is not for gamers at the moment. i hope i'm wrong. after all, it IS shinier than XP.

Have you tried to run these programs in compatibility mode for vista.

    hello

i'm using a 64-bit version of windows seven ultimate, and i've come across a bug that turns players in fifa 09 into bobbing jesus christs!!!
with their arms spread WIDE open. it's quite ridiculous. i have tried downloading the latest 64bit nvidia drivers for windows 7 (181.71) but the system crashed during their installation (after i'd received an alert saying the drivers were not certified) and i had to restore it.
i'm stumped, people. please help me.

i am using a BFG GeForce 9800GTX+ graphics card, on a quad core Q6700 system.
I had exactly the same problem. Right click sound icon and choose playback devices. Click on sound properties and go to advanced. There you can change the audio sampling rate. Choose a different one to the one it is set to now. It fixed mine and my problem was like yours. See here.

Let me know how it goes!

i changed the playback a few times but no luck. @jfar, i've tried playing it in various compatibility modes. nothing that way either.

hurray i've done it. i went to my graphic card (gigabyte NOT bfg) manufacturer's webpage and downloaded 64 bit drivers for windows vista (177.81) and it cured fifa alright. but there's a tiny double-vision type thing going on and the players seem to be faintly outlined in silver! if anyone knows how to get rid of this, let me know. i'm thinking new drivers would do the trick.
