Do you know which model Pentium IV you have?

Pentium D/Pentium EE

805/820/830/840 NO
915/925/935/945 NO
920/930/940/950/960 YES
955/965 YES

The ones with yes support hardware virtualization.

Well, I hope you can get ti to work with the info we provided.

If I were you I would install virtual pc 2007. That will surely work.
I have to go to bed, 3:38AM here.
And Sassa is in my timezone, so I think he's it off to dreamland soon as well.

But when you get stuck, there are always people here that can help you.

Good luck

Win 7 Pro x64 x 3, Win 7 Pro x86, Ubuntu 9.04

It's important to note that running games in Virtual PC or any Virtualization software can have very poor performance, even when you're playing ghetto old games. This is mainly because of the zero video acceleration available in Virtualized machines. Even if it could easily produce 100s of frames without video acceleration, you will probably get tearing etc. Now if this isn't a fps type game, and it's like monopoly, solitaire, you probably won't have an issue...
