I know there are probably like 20 posts about this

so im trying to run a 256 color game called knights and merchants in windows 7 7127 and the ive tried all the compatiblity options and it still wont work, it worked fine on xp and and ive tried many of the fixes they say to use for starcraft for knights and merchants but wont work

Try to install XP mode and run from there.

You need to download Windows Virtual PC RC
and install it.Then you need to download Windows XP Mode RC
and install it.

first we need your system specs (lower left corner) so we know what hardware you have. We also need 32 bit or 64? clean install or upgrade.

We also need to know if the game is 32 bit or 16. right click the executible file and go to properties, details

well its a clean install in 32 bit and what else you want?

We have been thru this before, and we both know our repective view points. It never hurts usually helps and is asked for when you sign up.
