Problem with 4 games that come with Win 7 Pro

Seven Forums, (ignor misspelled words, my fingers do not pay attention to me)

I appologize fro posting this requiest in General Discussion I did not find a specifica place for GAMRS. Please let me know where I should have place this request.

Of the 12 games I play on my computer, only 4 I play on a daily basis: Free Cell, Mahjong Titans; Solitair and Spider Solitair. (Not realy intersted in Internet games).
Sudenly playing any one of the games just mentioned will start blinking sometimes very radical, sometimes I can rapidly left or right click on the blinking card display and after manybe 5 minutes it will suddenly stop, during this period the programs cannot be shut down, the mouse pointer is an black hour glass, sometimes I have to do a hard shut down and start over.

My anti virus is up to date, I have Mallwarebytes also up to date. I have removed history and associated stuff what ever the problem is it does not effect other software other than an occasional blick, maybe one every 20 minutes, never goes any further. I have a feeling that something is messing with the games but have not been able to locate it. Any Ideas???

Don't know if this will help or not, but you can try running a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two) just in case any system files became damaged or corrupt. If any problems are found run the scan 3 times, rebooting in between each scan.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

This is actually a great idea, try his suggestion. This will check for corrupted files in windows 7 and fix and replace any broken files.

This will serve as an addition to the problem.
Running the fix Cleaner program has fixed a lot of files it has found bad however it has not helped after trying it as many ot at ;east a dozen times during the past week..
another way this blinking problem manifests its self is the game dispaly at full screen the display blinks sufficient to see my testtiop image flshing on and off so it appears that the game program is shutting on and off very rapidly. On some occasions I have caused the problem to heal its self by hard clicking somwhere on the program, am unable to shut it off, the title bar rapidly blinks on and off, again it appears to be triggered by some acton, maybe clicking some link or card. In one sevear case I had to cold boot to stop it. The only programs that I play with are Freecell, marhjong Titans, solitaire and Spider colitair. The onther games are online games which I do not care about, even though I use high speed cable. I do not see the four programs that I play in the "Programs and Feathrues" section or I would have uninstalled and re-installed if I could find them to re-install.
Hope this triggers another Idea. I just installed a wireless Logitecch thumb controlled mouse since I could not find a wired useb one, not made anymore. The right click button on my old was worn out. The problem I am concerned about was doing this with the old wired one.

If SFC got a lot of hits, this could be an indication of your harddrive dying.
That's a worst case scenario mind you just something to be mindful of.

Honestly since I don't know your system first hand the simplest thing I can think of at the moment that would at least remove problems with windows itself from the equation is this.
    Repair Install
This will reset windows to factory defaults without removing installed applications or causing the loss of your personal data. Anything related directly to windows will be reset to default though. This includes your desktop and any custom windows settings you may have.
I do suggest uninstalling your antivirus before doing this and reinstalling it afterwards if you choose to take this particular piece of advice.

You can uninstall and reinstall only the windows games.
on the left hand side of the programs and features window in the control panel, there is a link that says turn windows features off and on. Games should be at the top of the list. Just untick it to remove.
