Hello shauryasamanta and welcome to Seven Forums.

According to the website vgrequirements, Mafia II is supposed to be compatibile with XP, Vista and 7.

When you insert the disc, open up the Start menu and click on Computer. Where your DVD drive is (it might be called "D:" and will say something like "MafiaII") double-click :)

If this doesn't work you can open it manually by right-clicking on the drive icon and selecting Open in New Window. In the window which pops up you will want to look for something called "setup.exe"

The game works fine under Win7. I have it and it runs just fine.

As mentioned, your DVD drive may not be set to autorun. Just follow the suggestions given and start the install manually.
