Working after quite a bit a bit of tweaking:
Carmageddon 2 - Carpocalypse Now
The detailed guide on how to make it work can be found here: VOGONS :: View topic - How to run Carmageddon 2 on Windows Vista and Windows 7
Well ... sadly I picked up XIII (cel shaded FPS from 2003) this weekend on Gamersgate without reading the 'No Win7 Compatibility' line in the system req's ... and it was true - wouldn't even get halfway through the install.
I apologize for not being about to do squat with the list for 4 months - lots of things going on.
Someone had once mentioned the idea of making the list hosted off-site, such as in a Google Doc - if that were the case then I could quite easily have 4 or 5 other people helping to keep it clean and updated.
If you're still reading this thread, PM me with your idea to make this a community driven list without relying on a single person to edit it.
Works Perfectly:
Defence Grid - The Awakening
Semi-Working:
Fallout 3: you'll need to edit a lot of things to fix it from crashing every ½ minute.
Counter-Strike Source
Half-life 2
They both say hl2 has stopped working when i play for about 10 mins
Not tested with Seven, but I had the same problem with XP: solved it by applying the latest patch and accepting the default video parameters. Fallout3 became reasonably stable then. (The cause of the problems is the game itself...)Semi-Working:
Fallout 3: you'll need to edit a lot of things to fix it from crashing every ½ minute.
Avoided ALT-Tabbing too: it ALWAYS ended in a CTD for me.
Bioshock 2 works fine on win 7 32 Bit Professional
these work perfectly:
Saints Row 2
Killing Floor
Defence Alliance II
NEOTOKYO
