Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Windows 7 Professional x64, Windows XP x64 SP3

Any other events around this time? Are you able to open up Task manager and monitor the performance and note down any spikes before/after/during opening BF3?

Have you also updated BF3 through the Origin app?

Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate)

I only found this but you did mention that you have the latest version... right?

This is what I would do... your miles may vary.

I would download the latest video and audio drivers (if you have them already copied somewhere, there is no need), then I would proceed to uninstall both, restart, go to safe mode and run the Driver Sweeper, restart again and install fresh copies of both drivers and once you are finish do the same with the Game.

20 minutes waste, max but... you may enjoy your game again.
