    Games lagging on good laptop.

Hello. When I'm playing high or medium end games on my laptop, they often lag even with the quality turned down to the lowest. These are my specs:

    AMD Quad-Core A10-4600M @ 2.30Ghz x4
    8 GB RAM
    750 GB HDD
AMD Radeon HD7660G + HD 7670M Dual Graphics

As you can see I should be able to play most games on medium or high quality settings.
I've tried using GameBooster, but nothing improved. Where is the problem?

Lag as in slow Frames Per Seconds in the Campaign or slow ping on Online Multiplay? if the latter... How sure are you that is not your internet or the host server?

If on a Campaign, have you check the minimum requirements for the games you are trying to play to see if your laptop meets or exceeds them?

When was the last time you updated your Video and Audio Drivers?

In short... perhaps you need to expand on your explanation of Lag?

By lag I mean low fps both on and offline.

I've checked all the games that lag for minimum specs, both manually and on sites like Can You RUN It | Can I run that game | Game system requirements. They all exceed minimum by a lot, and some are even on recommended specs.

My drivers are up to date.

What games are you running please - also the trinity chips aren't amazing, there better on the iGPU side, but the CPU side is lacking from what Ive read.

I play games like NFS Most wanted and MoH Warfighter, but i get far more lag with Borderlands 2, even on everything at the lowest setting.

Drop it to 1280x720 - borderlands 2 wont run on that chip above that - as for the others im not sure, give the res drop a try - but the cpu in question really is an entry level chip.

To put it in perspective, this chip runs diablo 3 at 1280x720 on medium settings at a min fps of 17, an average of 27-30 according to users and bench markers. So borderlands 2 is gonna kill it.

No worries, hope it helps, the other thing you could do is make sure you dont have many programs running on start up, this will free some of the CPU up to help.
